Echinodorus bleheri is commonly known as the 'Amazon Sword' and has been very popular in the fish keeping hobby for many years and certainly the most popular live aquarium sword we have.. The leaves are broad and straight. Echinodorus bleheri is therefore ideally placed in the rear sections of the aquarium as a background plant. The leaves are sturdy and can vary from light to dark green colors. The sturdy leaves mean it's ideal for larger fish keeping or one's who like to nibble on plants. As one of the hardiest plants around, it makes a perfect beginner plant or for larger aquariums. Echinodorus bleheri does well even in low lighted aquariums.

Beautiful plants! They’re melting very slightly adjusting to my tank conditions but I already see new leaves growing to replace the ones that look a little rough. Hopefully they grow in nice and thick for me.
