LIVE AQUARIUM PLANT
Echinodorus Argentinensis: is a large species requiring space in the aquarium to grow. It is therefore
suited to larger aquariums. A nutritious substrate is recommended for healthy growth. It is fast
growing and can quickly reach the surface. Keep in shape by removing old leaves and letting the
newer leaves sprout through. It is suited to most tank conditions & moderate lighting setups.
Also know as a sword plant the Echinodorus argentinensis is one of the larger varieties & requires
ample space in your aquarium. Prefers open top aquariums but still looks beautiful in closed
aquariums. The ornamental leaves are extremely sturdy and with little effort it will produce shoots
holding white blossoms.
This particular plant is rather rare and is not often found in the trade, so buy yourself a couple &
plant them together to make your tank unique.
