Bunch 3-5 Stems

Mermaid Hygro, scientifically known as Proserpinaca palustris and often called Mermaid Weed or Saw-Tooth Hygro, is a striking stem plant that brings bold texture and evolving color to freshwater aquariums. Its unique serrated leaves and dramatic transformation under strong lighting make it a true statement plant in any aquascape.

Under moderate lighting, Mermaid Hygro displays bright green, saw-shaped leaves. With higher light intensity, the foliage becomes more bristle-like and begins shifting into beautiful shades of pink, orange, and gold—creating a stunning visual contrast among traditional green plants.
