This listing is for:

Plant/Stems Included: 3-5 Stems In 2 Inch Pot
Size: 5-8 Inches

Rotala Rotundifolia is a popular and well recognized stem plant originating from Southeast Asia. It can be characterized by the long delicate stems with thin round vertical leaves shooting out from the side of the stems. When dosing high iron and Plant Food fertilizer, this stem plant can develop an intense red coloration.

This plant is perfect for background placement and can add some nice contrast to the usual green plants. Rotala Rotundifolia Red does best planted densely by separating the bundles into individual stems and spacing them out about half an inch apart to allow each stem enough space to grow. When planted in groups, it has a dazzling effect as a thick red bush in your aquascape.

Propagation is like any other stem plant, simply cut anywhere along the stem and replace. This plant grows relatively fast so frequent pruning is recommended to keep it growing thick and prevent the bottom leaves from getting starved off of lighting
-Rotala has fragile leaves! Be sure to handle with care.
-Final coloration is ultimately dependent upon the conditions this plant is kept in. This is a live plant meaning size, shape and color may vary.
-Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
-Please be sure to remove this plant from its wrap. Remove the foam surrounding the roots and plant into a quality substrate. For instructions on how to properly prep "bunched" aquarium plants, click here.
-CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield better growth.
-Please research appropriately to ensure your plant thrives.

Livestock:
1. We guarantee live arrival on all of our livestock. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified in 24 hours. Keep in mind these plants just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and be at their best again. Please Take clear photos of the dead product and send it to us within 24 hours of receiving the item and once the item is validated by us we will send a replacement or refund minus the cost of shipping. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you.
2. If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold, we highly recommend having the post office hold your mail for the estimated delivery day. This is a completely free option which can be requested online via www.usps.com or in person at your local post office. This way, your package will remain indoors, protected, and out of the elements for you to pick up once the package has arrived.
3. We guarantee live arrival of all live stock. This means we assure that live stock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We are here to help but are not liable after you have received the livestock alive.
