Vallisneria Biawensis (Corkscrew) Bunch

CORKSCREW (VALLISNERIA BIAWENSIS) is a very attractive, yet hardy and undemanding plant that is ideal for the background of the small to medium aquarium. It is one of the longest and often kept plant species in the aquarium hobby due to its ease of care and durability. It is a perfect background plant that will grow to the top of the aquarium, and it propagates prolifically. Like most plants, Corkscrew Vallisneria will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, iron, potassium, nitrogen, and other plant supplements.

Corkscrew Vallisneria is a member of the tapegrass family of plants. It can grow up to 20 inches tall, and it provides valuable refuge for timid fish and fry, which will encourage those shy species to venture into the open more often. Corkscrew Vallisneria should be planted with its crown above the substrate. It will establish strong roots and is unlikely to be uprooted by bottom-dwelling fish. Its leaves should not be trimmed, as they will typically rot and fall off when damaged.

Shipping Process:

  • All live plants are shipped using USPS Standard and Priority Mail to provide the fastest and most reliable service.
  • Plants are typically shipped Monday - Friday to avoid weekend delays.
  • Each plant is carefully packaged in sealed plastic bags to hold in moisture during the shipping process.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy:

  • If you receive plants that are dead on arrival, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
  • Upon receipt of the photos, we will assess the situation. If the plants are determined to be DOA, we will replace or provide refund.
  • For a valid DOA claim, replacements or refunds will be processed within 2 business days after the claim is approved.
  • Please keep in mind that all plants require sun light to live therefore your plants may arrive slightly yellow.  Please float your plants at the top of your tank near the light for 3 days if applicable.  They will enjoy this new added light intensity to help them recover.

Limitations and Responsibilities:

  • The DOA policy is only applicable if the first delivery attempt is made within the shipping duration specified at the time of purchase.
  • Delays due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer or missed deliveries will void the DOA guarantee.
  • Extreme weather conditions can impact the health of the plants in transit. We recommend checking the weather forecasts and choosing a shipping window accordingly.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to acclimate the plants to their new environment according to best practices. Our DOA policy does not cover plants that perish due to improper acclimation.

Cancellation and Changes:

  • Orders can only be cancelled or changed before they are shipped. Once the order is in transit, we cannot accept cancellations or changes.

Customer Support:

  • If you have any questions or concerns regarding our shipping policy or the condition of your plants upon arrival, please contact our customer support team at [Contact Information].

By placing an order with Canton Aquatics LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this shipping policy.

Please be sure to check the regulations in your state regarding restricted plants. Our policy is to avoid shipping any plants that are prohibited in your area to ensure compliance and environmental safety. It's important not to introduce plants into the wild or waterways, as this could disrupt local ecosystems by introducing invasive species.

We appreciate your efforts in helping to protect the environment. For the latest updates, you can consult the USDA State Noxious Weed list here.

Thank you for your dedication to preserving our natural habitats.

Don't waste your time

Let me start with, i paid for 2 day shipping. I made the purchase on a Sunday and didnt receive them until the following Saturday. What's the point of paying extra if your not going to get it on time? Thats 6 days.
I ordered 3 plants, Anubias White Rose which showed up in great condition. I also ordered Red Root Floater which showed up brown, i cleaned it up with some tank water and put them in the tank and hoped for the best. 1 week later they were still brown and dead. So I removed them.
The last was Vallisneria Biawensis it showed up in horrible shape. It was basically dead the roots were all black and most of the leaves were like a transparent color. i cut some of the leaves off that were dead. Over a 1 week span the leaves were just falling off.
Customer service on THIS site was great. Then they had me Email the company so I could send pitchers. At first they were nice until they asked if I wanted store credit or a refund and I said refund. They would only refund part of my money for the plants that had died.
Included are pitchers of when the plants first arrived and 1 week of being in the tank. And also screenshots of what they refunded and the email of them not refunding me the full amount of the dead plants.
For some reason the pitchers are not actually loading on the site. I just hope they upload when I submit this review.
